About
Colors of Spanish

Colors of Spanish was born in 2004 in Sonoma County out of the need for a large number of families to raise their children bilingual. For many Hispanic families, transmitting their native language can be a challenge due to several factors, including the fact that leaving home it is common for children to function socially and linguistically in the English language. This is one of the many challenges many families face when trying to pass on the target language to their young heirs as part of their identity. In addition, there is a great recognition in California of the importance of active bilingualism, due to the large number of residents and professional jobs that provide certain advantages that the monolingual world limits.

Colors of Spanish provides educational resources in Spanish to children at an early age, which allow them to create a relationship and connection with the target language through playful learning, which includes the exploration of the things and concepts that surround a child’s world; since it awakens curiosity, creativity and motivation to learn about the environment in which they develop.
